Mister 8 19x22 Eugenia Duke on Wood WP6550

South Carolina folk artist Mr. 8 pays tribute to Eugenia Duke, the Greenville entrepreneur who created the beloved Duke's Mayonnaise, in this colorful and whimsical portrait. Wearing a wide-brimmed red hat and pearl necklace, Duke is pictured alongside a jar of the mayonnaise that became a Southern culinary institution. Bold outlines, expressive brushwork and a vibrant blue frame give the painting Mr. 8's distinctive folk-art character. More than a nostalgic image, this work celebrates a pioneering Southern businesswoman whose homemade mayonnaise became one of the region's most enduring food traditions. Signed and dated 2026
