Mister 8 18x36 Vase on Canvas WP6553

Mr. 8 takes a departure from his familiar advertising subjects with this colorful interpretation of a decorative porcelain vase. Set against a vivid green background, the tall blue-and-white vessel features a graceful bird surrounded by flowering branches and richly colored blossoms. Bold outlines and loosely painted details give the traditional decorative motif a distinctly contemporary folk-art character. The contrast between the formal elegance of the vase and the artist's spontaneous painting style creates an engaging and unexpected composition.

This piece measures 18" wide and 36" long. Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas. It's length contributes to the high shipping rate.
