An ornate gold-tone frame (actually a repurposed tray) surrounds this angel portrait by Jarrod Turner. Against a blue background, a pale face appears beneath black hair and a slender yellow halo. Wide eyes, an elongated nose, and a small outlined mouth form the portrait’s central details. The frame’s openwork pattern adds a decorative contrast to the simple painted shapes. The artist’s J Turner signature is visible at the lower left.
