J Turner 8x10 Peeking Angel Painting on Blue WP6594

Jarrod Turner places a brown-faced angel low in this composition, with wide eyes peeking above the canvas’s lower edge. A broad shape of black hair surrounds the face, and a yellow halo arcs across the open blue background. The generous space above the figure distinguishes this painting from a more tightly cropped portrait. Its simple forms and unexpected placement bring a playful quality to Turner’s angel imagery.

The piece measures 8" wide, 10" long, and .5" deep.
