Eileen M. Piccoli is a jewelry artist based in Greenville, South Carolina specializing in wire work, metalsmithing, and fused glass. Her inspiration is the notion of creating âwearable artâ and her pieces reflect that both in form and detail. Her traditional art background helped develop her jewelry-making style, which is contemporary and sculptural. But it is her love of the hands-on process that sets her pieces apart. Bending and shaping metal is both precise and organic and the juxtaposition of pairing strong metal and delicate glass appeals to her.
Eileen is originally from the Philadelphia, PA area and now calls the western Carolina region her home. She is a participating member of the Metropolitan Arts Council and the Upstate Visual Arts Program in Greenville, SC and works out of her home studio in North Greenville where she also teaches jewelry-making techniques.
