Teyros Planter or Tabletop Lg Blue Birds DP2036 DS

A few years ago while working in my booth at the BMAC in Philadelphia I was approached by a fellow ceramic artist who was working on a ceramic book and asked if I would like to submit pictures of my work for inclusion in the project. I was to include my philosophy, exploration of the design development, elemental qualities, visual challenges, etc. I grasped the gentleman by the shoulders, turned him to face my booth and asked him “Does this look like the work of someone with deep thoughts?” - Cindy

CARE
Although the pieces are microwave and dishwasher safe, their delicate nature practically mandates hand washing as a preferred cleaning method.

Hand formed and sculptured planter with water tray embellished with the matching planter theme. The planters have a small drain hole to watering plants. Outside is glazed in stains and matte glazes and the inside is a bright pastel glossy glaze which is food safe. Though made for homes for small plants these little muses are charming for holding cotton balls or soaps. Because of the food safe interior they are also great table top accessories for candies, bread sticks, nuts, etc.

We no longer have this on our shelves however Cindy will create this piece and send directly from her CA studio. Please allow 10 days to 2 weeks. Actual time depends on drying time. Tray is 7" long and 5.25" wide. The head itself is 7.5" tall with a 6.5" x 5" opening. There's 2 birds and leaves surround her head. Blue bird on her shoulder.
