Stacy Lambert 7" Bug Eyed Jug DP6110 SOLD

Stacy hand builds his figures, sometimes throwing part of the work on the wheel.  He does an electric kiln bisque firing before completing the detail painting and finishing with a final electric firing. All of Stacy’s work is carefully constructed and abundantly detailed. His clay figures share characteristics with his amazing pen and ink and colored pencil drawings.  Both clay and paper attest to Stacy Lambert’s imagination and creativity.

A vivid, character-driven face jug featuring a lime-green glaze punctuated with scattered speckling. The exaggerated, wide-set eyes and toothy red grin push the piece into playful, almost creature-like territory, blending Southern face jug tradition with a contemporary, cartoonish edge. Handbuilt with strong sculptural presence, this piece reads as both vessel and personality—an animated object that commands attention from every angle.

Measures 7" tall, 6" wide and has a 3.75" base.
