Joe Reinhardt 12" Almost Birthday Face Jug DP5192

Joe Reinhardt was born in Catawba Valley and a member of the Reinhardt family with well known potters dating back to the mid 1800s. He worked as a brick mason for over 30 years until a heart attack ended that career. Thus, he began his journey as a potter. 

This piece is 12" tall, with a 5.25 bottom base. Inscribed at the bottom, "I'll be 65 in 2 more days" Dated 1-27-07
