Joe Reinhardt 11" Face Jug 10/08/08 DP4969

Joe Reinhardt was born in Catawba Valley and a member of the Reinhardt family with well known potters dating back to the mid 1800s. He worked as a brick mason for over 30 years until a heart attack ended that career. Thus, he began his journey as a potter. 

This face jug is 11" tall, about 9" wide, with a 5.25 bottom base. It is inscribed: "I am the man. Don't you think so"
