Marvin Bailey 3.75" Mini Face Jug DP6506

This whimsical face jug by South Carolina folk potter Marvin Bailey features an elongated nose, protruding eyes, oversized ears, and a comically exaggerated grin displaying large, uneven white teeth. A softly mottled green glaze with warm rust-colored accents emphasizes the hand-modeled facial details and gives the vessel an appealing rustic finish. With its traditional spout and applied handle, this character-filled jug reflects Bailey's playful interpretation of Southern face jug pottery.
