Marvin Bailey 3.75" Mini Face Jug DP6504 SOLD

Full of character, this face jug by South Carolina folk potter Marvin Bailey features a broad grin, prominent white teeth, wide-set eyes, and exaggerated ears. The animated expression is enhanced by a softly textured sage-green glaze with warm orange and rust-colored highlights that define the facial features. The traditional rounded jug form, narrow spout, and applied handle provide a classic foundation for Bailey's playful approach to Southern folk pottery.
