Marvin Bailey 3.25" Mini Face Jug DP6507

This striking face jug by South Carolina folk potter Marvin Bailey presents a darker, more intense personality than many of his playful creations. The deeply sculpted face features a furrowed brow, prominent ears, asymmetrical eyes, and an open mouth revealing irregular white teeth. A rich, glossy black glaze covers the vessel, creating dramatic contrast with the pale eyes and teeth. The traditional jug silhouette, complete with narrow spout and applied handle, reinforces its connection to the Southern face jug tradition.
