Marvin Bailey 21" Lady with Frying Pan & Eggs DP6542

Full of humor and personality, this whimsical ceramic figure by South Carolina folk potter Marvin Bailey depicts a wide-eyed woman wearing a long dress decorated with oversized red polka dots. Her expressive face features bright red lips, prominent white teeth, and short, spiky black hair, while her slender arms hold a black frying pan containing two sunny-side-up eggs and strips of bacon.

The elongated figure combines everyday domestic imagery with the exaggerated features and playful storytelling associated with Southern folk art. From her animated expression to the carefully modeled breakfast in the frying pan, Bailey brings a delightful sense of humor to this distinctive ceramic sculpture.

Measures 21" tall, about 8" wide across her elbows, and has a 4.75" base.
