Heather Head 7" Lips Jug DP6369

Heather Elyse Head gives the traditional Southern pottery jug a playful contemporary character with a pair of full, sculpted red lips. The rounded form is finished in a mottled chartreuse glaze that subtly varies across the surface, while the vivid lips provide a striking contrast. A pulled handle rises from the shoulder to the neck, and Head’s initials, “HEH,” are incised beneath the handle. Expressive and humorous, the piece reflects Head’s distinctive approach to Georgia folk pottery.

Measures 7" tall, about 6" wide, and has a 4" base.
