Heather Head 7.5" Lips Jug DP6370

A pair of sculpted red lips brings an unexpected touch of humor to this tall folk pottery jug by Heather Elyse Head. Its slender, wheel-thrown form is covered in a softly layered blue glaze that breaks to reveal earthy brown tones and horizontal throwing lines beneath. The elongated handle follows the curve of the vessel and is accented by an impressed maker’s mark at its base. The simple facial feature and richly varied surface give the jug a distinctly modern folk character.

Measures 7.5" tall, about 4.5" wide, and has a 3.5" base.
