Harold Ferguson 4" Matte Pig DP6357

This handmade pottery pig by Harold Ferguson combines a rounded body with an oversized open snout, alert applied eyes and small pointed ears. Four short legs support the sturdy form, while a looped tail adds a playful finishing detail. Its softly textured blue-gray green glaze complements the simple hand-formed construction and gives the pig a distinctly earthy appearance. The piece reflects the animal forms and good humor long associated with the Ferguson family’s Northeast Georgia folk pottery tradition.

This piece is 4.25" tall and is about 5" wide, with a 3.5" deep.
