Harold Ferguson 5" Matte Side Eye Face Jug DP6356

Harold Ferguson gives this handmade face jug pitcher a wonderfully expressive personality. The sculpted face features heavy brows, wide eyes, a long angular nose, oversized ears and a slightly open mouth. A curved handle rises along the back, balancing the exaggerated facial details. The softly mottled blue-gray glaze allows subtle variations in the clay surface to remain visible, connecting the piece to the playful figural traditions of Northeast Georgia folk pottery.

This piece is 5.5" tall and is about 6" wide, with a 3.25" base.
