Stanley Ferguson 11" Cobalt Blue Chickenman Sculpture with Top Hat DP6483

Stanley Ferguson gives this cobalt blue pottery bird a distinctive presence with a glossy black top hat, spiral eyes, and an open beak. Its elongated neck rises from a rounded body, while a broad, fan-shaped tail adds a bold sculptural silhouette. Dark variations in the blue glaze emphasize the modeled wings and contours. Set on a flared circular base, this characterful piece reflects the playful side of the Gillsville, Georgia, folk pottery tradition.

This piece measures 11" tall, about 6.25" deep and 3.5" wide.
