Feliciano Abaurre's work is the result of multiple esthetic and functional influences, from South America to Japan, Africa and the US , British and Indian pottery, always playing with the connection of clay and farm, utilitary ware for fermentation and storage.

These sculptural face jugs by Feliciano push the traditional form into bold, contemporary territory. Each piece is built as a layered vessel, combining horned or helmeted figures with articulated arms and openings that reveal inner faces and skeletal forms.
