Breezy 8" Dog & Rabbit Georgia Folk Pottery DP6339 SOLD

This charming folk pottery jug by Georgia artist Dale "Breezy" Ellis features two sculptural animal figures emerging from a hand-built stoneware vessel. A watchful rabbit peeks from the upper portion of the jug while a loyal dog looks out from below, creating a whimsical scene that celebrates the connection between animals and rural life. The surface is richly textured with carved markings, dots, and wood-grain-like patterns that give the piece the appearance of a weathered woodland relic. Ellis's expressive modeling captures the distinct personalities of both animals, while the warm earth-tone glaze enhances the folk art character of the work.
