Bo Thompson 9" Double Handle Alligator Jug DP6473

Georgia folk potter Bo Thompson combines an alligator’s toothy grin with the traditional form of a double-handled jug. The wide-eyed green creature displays an exaggerated snout and a lively assortment of long white and yellow teeth beneath a tall red spout. Two curling handles—one turquoise and one cream—are embellished with colorful applied accents. Incised textures, speckled glazes and a contrasting red reverse give this sculptural jug Thompson’s characteristic humor and energetic personality.

9" tall, about 6.5" wide, 7" deep and with a 3.5' base.

Ships with tracking and insurance for $22. Pottery does not ship outside the continental USA.
