Bo Thompson 3.25" Blue Bird DP6408

Georgia folk potter Bo Thompson gives this round blue bird an oversized personality through bulging eyes, a speckled yellow beak and deeply modeled wings and tail feathers. Peach-colored feet peek from beneath the plump body. The rich blue glaze and exaggerated features reflect Thompson’s playful approach to contemporary Southern folk pottery.
