This handcrafted face jug by young Georgia potter Ben Wilson has an engaging expression defined by wide eyes, a long sculpted nose, pronounced cheeks, and a broad toothy grin. Dark brown glaze runs across the forehead and down the face against a lighter earthy ground, settling naturally into the sculpted details and giving the jug a rustic, time-worn appearance.
