Rather than slick, modern materials, Chub Hubbard uses what’s on hand — rusted metal, scrap wood, tin — rooting his work in traditions of folk craftsmanship, bricolage, and outsider art. That gives his pieces authenticity and a rebellious DIY aesthetic. His tin cut outs are each cut and filed by hand eliminating sharp edges.

This piece measures 5.5" wide and 16" long and 1" thick. The wood is from Durham, NC, and the tin is from Seale,AL and Maxey, GA.
