Michael Banks is an artist from Alabama who knew from the time he was a child that he wanted to be an artist. A self-taught painter, Michael abandoned tradition on many levels and, in the process, succeeded in achieving a place in the wider world of contemporary American art.

This original painting is 11.75" wide and 24" long. Painted on wood. Michael experimented using paint and clear sealing tape in this series.
