Joe Reinhardt 9" Triple Face Jug DP2862

Joe Reinhardt was born in Catawba Valley and a member of the Reinhardt family with well known potters dating back to the mid 1800s. He worked as a brick mason for over 30 years until a heart attack ended that career. Thus, he began his journey as a potter. 

This face jug is 9" tall with a 4" bottom base. It is inscribed: "I hear no evil, I see no evil, I speak no evil 1/21/2004 Cold as a well diggers lunch box." The color is best represented in the outdoor photos.
