Charlie Frye Liberty 16x20 WP1300

Charlie Frye is a self-trained folk artist using primarily acrylics and preferring found objects to traditional canvases. His work is comprised of wild strokes and bold colors on barnwood, crates, pots and pans to name just a few.

Here, he's painted a very determined Statue of Liberty on wood. The piece measures 16" wide and 20" long long. It's wired for hanging. In addition to being signed, it reads, "To Randy" on the back. Randy is a fellow artist, Randy Tobias.
