Michael Banks is an artist from Alabama who knew from the time he was a child that he wanted to be an artist. A self-taught painter, Michael abandoned tradition on many levels and, in the process, succeeded in achieving a place in the wider world of contemporary American art.

This acrylic painting is on board is 12" wide and 18" long. Any holes towards the outside side edges are the result of the manner in which Michael displays his work when in an art show.
