Solos Pale Pink Dish Clock RC31

Nanda Soderberg and Rebecca Saunders started Solos Glass in 2007 to create high quality handmade products that are distinctive and modern. They collaborate in the studio blowing glass and designing contemporary objects for today's home. Currently, they live and work in Richmond, VA.

Most folks would take Aunt Myrtle's glass egg dish and simply place it in the china cabinet with grandma's teacup collection and let it sit there. Nanda and Rebecca, on the other hand, use the plate as the starting point for something useful - like say...a clock. Every clock is made from an antique glass bowl or dish. The glass is heated in the hot glass studio and spun flat by hand. The glass is then assembled with a quartz time clock and wall hardware for easy hanging. We'll include a battery. All clocks are one of a kind.

Pale Pink Dish is 11.5" x 11.5". I think this might be my favorite.
