WoodCutts jewelry starts by selecting the highest quality furniture grade hardwoods from sustainably farmed forests. The wood is then processed and hand finished in our studios by John and other family members. We use primarily American hardwoods including Cherry, Maple and Walnut.
The design process begins with an original sketch which is then drafted into Auto Cad and then printed to a laser cutter. After numerous changes and prototypes the jewelry blank is finalized and prepared for production. The jewelry blank is removed from the laser, inspected for quality, then hand cleaned and polished.
WoodCutts earrings are so light they seem to float. Really! They are super light weight and even the larger size can hardly be felt on the ear. Finished with hypo-allergenic ear wires and accented with a glass bead.
This pair is made with Cherry wood. Measure 2.25" long from the center of the ear wire curve. Design is 1.5" in diameter. I do not retake photos for this line as the process pretty much ensures that each pair is the same from one to another.
