Southern folk artist, Kelley Bentley Ash was born in northern Alabama in 1972. Growing up on her grandparents farm she realized drawing helped pass the long hot summer days of pure boredom. âAfter almost dying back in 2003 from the HELLP Syndrome while pregnant with my son, I decided to start selling my work in order to afford only the necessities to stay at home with my premature son. The business has grown to what it is today as a full time career. I have collectors from Puerto Rico, Washington, New York, Illinois, Arizona, California, and of course the good ole south. My work was recently featured in Paula Deanâs magazine âCooking with Paulaâ and I have had installations in designer show homes including the fabulous Montaluce in Dahlonega, Georgia." - Kelley
