Dee Dee is a metalsmith intrigued with nature & found objects from our history, and especially circa 1920-1950’s. Using traditional soldering and cold join techniques and unafraid to mix different textures & materials, she comes up with some pretty interesting jewelry. The work is playful but also carries a feeling of rugged elegance. I also think it reminds us of cherished memories because of the whimsical use of discarded items from our past.
Chained Earrings
Funky and swingy chain earrings. 3" total length from the center of the curve of the ear wire. Three chain pieces, each just over 1.5" long and additional .5" dangle with a single yellow centered bead. Sterling silver ear wires.
