Lynn Felts is inspired by the interplay between texture, color, and light. Mosaic really emphasizes the interaction of these elements. Combining glass and glass beads with natural elements such as metal, stone, fibers, and shell opens up infinite artistic choices. Lynn's wish that her art, its texture and luminosity, will inspire viewers to look more closely at the complexities in the natural world around them.

When snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef, I had the honor of swimming with sea turtles. These wise and ancient creatures have a lot to teach us, and this piece was created to give them a voice. Painstakingly crafted with lots of time, patience, and love, each bead was placed individually by hand. -Lynn Felts
