“Cylindricals” is a concept Martha Peterson worked on 30 years ago in college. It wasn’t until her children grew up that she was able to bring her concept to life. Cylindricals are a very new concept and made only by Martha in her Florida Studio.
The acrylic and aluminum cylinders are all handmade. All of the pieces are assembled with sterling silver bezel connections and jump rings, which are all soldered. The pendants all hang on a beautiful 18" Italian sterling silver chain.
All of these amazing handmade acrylic and aluminum cylinders swing
independently. They shimmer in the light. There are sterling silver beads in between each cylinder. The aluminum "jacket" is 1.5" long with sides of .5" and cradles a a teal acrylic cylinder of 2.25" in length and 3/16" diameter. The aluminum cylinders are 1.5" long and 3/16" diameter and .75" long and 5/16" diameter.
