Bear in mind the photos were taken through the glass. The piece was created in Mari's unique style using crayon and poster paint.
It may help to remember that you are purchasing the painting, not the frame so much. Put another way, you buy a painting and get a frame free! I photographed the frame as it arrived, but by the time it is seen next - the corners will be super glued. Mari utilizes the frame, more for the safe transportation of the painting, a painting holder if you will.
