silver, copper, brass, and fused (bi-metal) sterling and 22 carat gold. She
often incorporates semi-precious stones, river stones, and found
objects. Construction involves designing, cutting, shaping and soldering
individual parts of a single piece together. Her chemical patinas are
used to achieve an organic affect. Because the stones and objects are
often unique and one of a kind, , shapes and coloration can vary. Andrea also
employs casting once she has the desirable design. Her work often
includes miniature figures which have become known as the "Body Language
