I am a self-taught artist living in South Carolina with my loving and supportive husband.

I knew from an early age that I was an artist although I took a slight detour to work as a RN for many years. Even as a nurse, I created and sold many small works of art to my coworkers.

With a strong imagination and a total disregard for rules, I often combine unlikely materials to achieve eye catching results.

I create whimsical works of art that celebrate the joy that we all can find in life and nature.
I also teach a variety of workshops on a national level – Whimsical Mark Making, Book Binding, mixed media fiber projects as well as art journaling classes.

If I’m not elbow deep in art supplies (and a few pieces of recycled trash), you can find me knee deep in the water, kayaking the rivers and ocean with my husband.
